Buildup To Opening Day

Opening day for the Giants is right around the corner, on Friday April 1st. The Cactus League already kicked off this last Friday and games will run all the way until March 31st. While the spring training festivities are going on I plan to bring you updates of how the games are going, any breaking news stories, and most importantly player bios. I know most of you out possess vast knowledge of the Giants and especially their current roster. I hope to add to that in the next 30ish days by introducing a new player biography each day. It will take an in-depth look at how that particular baseball player came to be a Giant and what their impact this year will be. By the time opening day comes around I plan on having extensive blogs on most every Giant you will see out there on the field this year. As always if there are any special requests let me know and I'll see if I can work it into the mix. As you can see below I'm going to start off with the pitching staff. Bay Area Giants

How's it going fellow SF Giants fans? I'm originally from Sacramento, California and have been a Giants fan my whole life. Although I currently go to college in Arizona, I still follow the Giants religiously. This has served as the motivation behind creating a blog. I understand there isn't much to look at yet but a lot is coming. I've got plenty of great ideas and enough spare time to update daily.
